Life was simpler, notebook computers
boxier, and digital cameras uncommon. My early
Jean's Journeys reflect that. I haven't been able to find all
the original documents, at least not yet, but I have found the first few
and included them here. If you have only recently begun to receive my
newsletters, or you just want to review the past, this is the place.
Perusing them was a good reminder for me of the faithfulness of my
Father, his goodness to me, and his heart of compassion for the poor and
needy.
Join me for a stroll down memory lane...
April 1997: I was heading to England
where I would join the ship in Plymouth.

never end! Anastasis in Rotterdam.
November 1997: Finally, sailing to
Cotonou, Benin
April, 1998: Benin in Review.
October 2002: From Cuxhaven,
